What areas do you service?
Reliable Geeks offer regular services within the San Francisco
Bay Area and all close surrounding counties. That means Easy Bay,
West Bay, North Bay, and the Tri-Valley areas. You can view our
service area map here.
What are your rates?
We charge $22 per quarter hour (15 minutes). You can view our
terms and agreement here.
We also offer discounted rates for pre-purchased bulk hours.
Do you charge travel time?
No. But we do charge a site visit fee of $50.00. It's explained
in our terms.
Do you sell hardware and software?
No Although Reliable Geeks is a service provider, we use the most
reliable distributors to help you get the best deals. If you're
not sure what to buy, we can help.
Do you have a retail store or repair facility?
No. Offering onsite service keeps our costs down and your hassles
to a minimum.
It also allows us to observe computer problems where they occur
and subsequently provides the most effective timely solutions.
We do have access to many distributors in the areas we cover though.
Sometimes to better effect a repair we might refer you to one
of them.
Are Geeks better than Nerds?
Yes, of course. But they're smarter.
How long has Reliable Geeks been doing this?
Remember those guys with odd haircuts back in junior high school
who seemed nice enough, kept quiet in class and always had floppy
disks on hand? That was us. Except now our hair looks better.
Can Reliable Geeks "just make this piece of junk work again"?
Yes, but if need be, we'll haul it out back and help you beat
it up.
